Ryobi ONE+ HP 18V Brushless 1/2 in. Hammer Drill (Tool Only)

Model number
PBLHM101B

The Ryobi PBLHM101B is an 18V ONE+ HP brushless hammer drill that combines 750 in-lbs of torque with a 31,000 BPM hammer mechanism, making it capable of drilling into concrete, brick, and block alongside standard wood and metal work. The 2-speed gearbox (0–500 / 0–2,100 RPM), 24-position clutch, and included auxiliary handle give users the control needed for both precise fastening and aggressive masonry drilling. It is the bare-tool version of the PBLHM101K kit, priced for builders who already own ONE+ batteries. The next-generation PBLHM102B offers increased torque and BPM.

§ FAQ

Does the PBLHM101B come with a battery?

No. It is a bare tool that includes the hammer drill and an auxiliary handle. A battery and charger are not included. For the kit version, see the PBLHM101K.

Can the PBLHM101B drill into concrete?

Yes. In hammer mode it produces 31,000 BPM to drive masonry bits through concrete, brick, and block. For best results use carbide-tipped SDS bits rated for hammer drilling (adapters allow SDS bits in 1/2 in. keyless chucks).

What is the difference between the PBLHM101B and PBLHM102B?

The PBLHM102B is the next-generation model with higher torque (850 vs. 750 in-lbs) and more BPM (34,400 vs. 31,000). The PBLHM102B also features an all-metal keyless chuck versus the ratcheting metal chuck on the PBLHM101B.

Can I use this as a regular drill/driver?

Yes. The hammer function can be disabled, turning the PBLHM101B into a standard drill/driver. The 24-position clutch works in drill mode for controlled fastening.

What batteries are compatible with the PBLHM101B?

All Ryobi 18V ONE+ batteries, including standard and HIGH PERFORMANCE cells. For heavy hammer drilling in dense masonry, a higher-capacity battery (2.0 Ah or above) is recommended to maintain consistent BPM.
