Moen Arbor One-Handle High Arc Pulldown Kitchen Faucet with MotionSense Wave (Chrome)

Model number
7594EWC

The Moen 7594EWC is the MotionSense Wave version of the Arbor pull-down kitchen faucet in Chrome. MotionSense Wave uses a single sensor at the top of the spout: pass a hand over it to start or stop water flow without touching the handle — useful for keeping the faucet clean during food prep. Power Clean spray delivers 50% more spray force than standard Moen pull-down faucets at the same 1.5 GPM flow rate, and the Reflex system returns the wand to the spout dock automatically after use. Runs on 6 included AA batteries; an optional AC adapter eliminates battery changes for permanent installations.

§ FAQ

What is MotionSense Wave and how is it different from MotionSense Two-Sensor?

MotionSense Wave has one sensor at the top of the spout that activates when you wave a hand above it. MotionSense Two-Sensor (the 7594EC, 7594EORB, 7594ESRS) adds a second Ready sensor at the base that activates automatically when you bring hands close. Wave is more intentional; Two-Sensor is more automatic.

Does the 7594EWC require batteries or can it be hardwired?

It ships with 6 AA batteries that power the sensor system. An optional AC adapter (sold separately) can be installed to eliminate battery changes permanently — a popular upgrade when running a power line under the sink is feasible.

Does the touchless sensor activate accidentally when I walk past the sink?

The Wave sensor requires a deliberate hand pass close to the top of the spout to activate. It is designed to distinguish intentional gestures from ambient movement, though sensitivity can vary. Most users find it activates reliably without false triggers.

Does the 7594EWC include a deck plate for a three-hole sink?

Yes. A chrome deck plate is included in the box for three-hole sink installations. The control box for the MotionSense sensor mounts under the sink and does not require an additional hole.

What happens if the batteries die — can I still use the faucet manually?

Yes. If the batteries are depleted, the MotionSense sensor goes offline but the handle still operates the faucet normally as a manual fixture. You lose touchless capability until batteries are replaced or the AC adapter is installed.
