Klein Tools® MM700 Digital Multimeter TRMS/Low Impedance, 1000V

Model number
MM700

The Klein Tools MM700 is a True RMS auto-ranging digital multimeter rated CAT IV 600V / CAT III 1000V with IP42 ingress protection. It measures AC/DC voltage up to 1000V, AC/DC current up to 10A, resistance to 40 MΩ, capacitance to 4000 µF, frequency, duty-cycle, and temperature up to 1500°F. Low impedance (LoZ) mode prevents false ghost voltage readings. The 4000-count backlit LCD and 6.6-foot drop protection suit demanding job-site conditions. This product has been discontinued; the MM720 is the current replacement. Backed by Klein Tools' 1-year limited warranty.

§ FAQ

Is the MM700 still available?

No — the MM700 has been discontinued and replaced by the MM720.

What was the MM700?

A True RMS + Low Impedance (LoZ) multimeter at 1000V — essentially the same platform as the MM720 but the previous generation, without the reverse-contrast optical-sensor display.

What replaced it?

The MM720 is the direct replacement with the same True RMS + LoZ at 1000V, upgraded with a reverse-contrast display that auto-adjusts to ambient lighting.
