Klein Tools 50 ft. (15.2 m) Nylon Fish Tape

Model number
56011

The Klein Tools 56011 is a 50-foot nylon composite fish tape designed for flexibility and easy navigation through conduit runs. The non-conductive nylon tape slides easily over existing wires and through multiple bends. Lightweight and strong, the nylon composite tape resists harsh elements and is strength-rated up to 200 pulling pounds. The 13-inch case diameter allows 15 percent more tape to be reeled in per revolution compared to a standard 12-inch case. Made in the USA. This product is no longer in production.

§ FAQ

Is the 56011 nylon fish tape still available?

The 56011 (50 ft nylon) has been discontinued. Klein no longer offers a nylon fish tape. The closest current equivalent is the 50375 (high-flex polyester, 75 ft), which provides a similar lightweight, flexible, non-conductive construction in a longer length.

What replaced the 56011?

The 50375 (high-flex polyester, 3-strand braided, 75 ft) is the current lightweight flexible tape. Polyester at 75 feet offers greater reach than the 56011 at 50 feet with similar flexibility and non-conductive properties.

Why was nylon replaced with polyester in the current lineup?

Braided polyester provides better durability and consistent flexibility across temperature ranges compared to solid-extruded nylon. Klein's current high-flex polyester line delivers improved kink resistance and smoother feeding characteristics.
