Klein Tools 25 ft. Fish Rod and Glow Rod Set

Model number
56103

The Klein Tools 56103 is a 25-foot combined fish rod and glow rod set. Standard 1/4-inch diameter fish rod sections provide flexibility with extended-distance rigidity, while a single 3/16-inch x 5-foot glow rod section guides the assembly into dark spaces. Sections connect end-to-end via beveled threaded connectors to resist snagging. The set includes a steel bullet nose tip and a J-hook for attaching wire. Suitable for routing wire above ceilings, through walls, under carpets, and across raised floors where low-light visibility is a factor. Product has been discontinued by the manufacturer.

§ FAQ

The 56103 is discontinued — what replaces it?

The 50254 (25 ft. Multi-Flex Glow Rod Set) is the direct replacement. It assembles to the same 25-foot length but uses the current multi-flex modular system with defined flex-rating sections and improved glow coating. For a complete kit with tips, the SRS56981 Mega Kit includes 52.5 feet and 18 accessories.

The 56103 included both fish rod and glow rod sections. Does the 50254 also mix types?

The 50254 uses multi-flex glow rod sections throughout — all sections glow. The concept of mixing non-glow fish rod sections with glow rod sections has been replaced by the fully glow multi-flex architecture in the current line.

Can I still use the 56103 alongside current Klein sections?

In most cases, yes — the threaded connector design is consistent. However, Klein does not officially guarantee cross-generation compatibility for discontinued products.
