Klein Tools® CL810 600A AC/DC Auto-Ranging TRMS Clamp Meter with Worklight

Model number
CL810

The Klein Tools CL810 is a 600A AC/DC auto-ranging True RMS clamp meter with an integrated worklight, rated CAT IV 600V / CAT III 1000V with IP40 protection. The 1.4-inch jaw and 6000-count transflective reverse-contrast display make it practical for panel work. Low Impedance (LoZ) mode eliminates ghost voltages. Thermocouple input enables temperature measurement up to 1000°C. Measures voltage, current, resistance, capacitance, and frequency. Includes right-angle test leads and thermocouple. Suited for commercial electricians and industrial maintenance. Covered by Klein Tools' 1-year limited warranty.

§ FAQ

What does the CL810 add over the CL800?

An integrated worklight — the only hardware difference between the two models. Both share the same 600A/1000V/LoZ/IP40/temperature platform. The worklight is useful in dark panels, overhead conduit work, and junction boxes where holding a separate flashlight isn't practical.

Is the worklight independent of the measurement function?

Yes — the worklight can be activated independently to illuminate a work area without engaging any measurement mode.

Does the CL810 have LoZ mode?

Yes — same Low Impedance mode as CL710 and CL800 for eliminating ghost voltages on de-energized conductors.

What jaw opening does the CL810 have?

1.4 inches — accommodating most residential and commercial conductors. For conductors larger than 1.4 inches, the CL910's 2.0-inch jaw is required.

What's the difference between the CL810 and CL910?

CL910 is rated for 2000A and 2000V, has a 2.0-inch jaw for large service entrance conductors, and a CAT III 2000V rating for medium-voltage applications. CL810 is sized for standard 600A/1000V commercial and residential work.

Does the CL810 measure temperature?

Yes — via thermocouple input, same as the CL800. Useful for HVAC diagnostics alongside current and voltage measurements.
