Kidde Wire-Free Interconnected Battery Powered Smoke and CO Alarm

Model number
P4010DCSCO-W

The Kidde P4010DCSCO-W is a 10-year sealed battery combination smoke and CO alarm with supervised wire-free interconnect capability. When one alarm sounds, all connected alarms sound — without any wiring. Voice notifications accompany the 85 dB alarm tone, with additional verbal messages such as 'Replace alarm' at end of life and 'Hush mode activated' when a nuisance alarm is silenced. A three-color LED status ring provides instant status identification. Bug screen protects the sensor from insect entry. This model is replaced by the 30CUD10-V.

§ FAQ

How does wire-free interconnect work?

Wire-free interconnect uses RF (radio frequency) wireless signals between alarms. When one alarm detects smoke or CO, it transmits a signal to all other connected alarms in the network, causing them to sound simultaneously. No hardwiring between alarms is needed — each alarm just needs to be within RF range of the others.

How many alarms can be interconnected wirelessly?

The P4010DCSCO-W supports up to 24 interconnected devices in a network, with up to 18 initiating devices (devices that can trigger the network). This is sufficient for large homes with multiple floors.
