Kidde Wire-Free Interconnected Hardwired Combination Smoke and CO Alarm with 10-Year Battery

Model number
P4010ACSCO-W

The Kidde P4010ACSCO-W is a hardwired AC/DC combination smoke and CO alarm with 10-year sealed battery backup and supervised wire-free interconnect capability. When one alarm sounds, all connected alarms sound — via wireless RF, without additional hardwire runs to non-wired locations. Voice announcements accompany the 85 dB alarm tone. Additional verbal messages include 'Replace alarm' at end-of-life and 'Hush mode activated'. A three-color LED status ring provides easy state identification. Bug screen protects sensor from insects. This model is replaced by the 30CUA10-V.

§ FAQ

What is wire-free interconnect on a hardwired alarm?

Wire-free interconnect on the P4010ACSCO-W means the alarm can connect to battery-powered wire-free alarms in other rooms via RF — without running hardwire to those locations. The alarm itself is hardwired to AC power, but its interconnect uses wireless RF to communicate with other Kidde wire-free compatible alarms.

What replaces the P4010ACSCO-W?

Kidde recommends upgrading to the 30CUA10-V, the current DETECT hardwired combo alarm with 10-year battery and voice alerts.
