§ FAQ

What is the difference between the DCS377Q1 and DCS377B?

The DCS377Q1 is the kit version and includes a 4.0Ah battery, charger, and kit bag. The DCS377B is the bare tool only. The saw body and all cutting specs are identical between both.

Is the DCS377Q1 suitable for electricians cutting conduit all day?

Yes. The compact 6.6 lb. body, one-handed design, and ATOMIC™ brushless motor are purpose-built for sustained overhead conduit cutting. Reviewers who work as electricians report getting through a full day on a single 2.0Ah or 4.0Ah battery.

Does the DCS377Q1 kit include TOOL CONNECT capability?

The tool body has a chip pocket that accepts the TOOL CONNECT Chip DCE042, sold separately. The chip integrates with the TOOL CONNECT app for jobsite asset tracking. The chip is not included in the Q1 kit.

Can the DCS377Q1 be used with a lanyard?

Yes. The DCS377B/Q1 tool body is LANYARD Capable™, meaning it has an integrated attachment point for a tool lanyard for elevated-work safety. The lanyard is sold separately.

What battery does the DCS377Q1 include?

The Q1 kit includes one DCB240 20V MAX* 4.0Ah compact lithium-ion battery and a DCB115 charger. The 4.0Ah battery is compatible with all other DEWALT 20V MAX* tools.

How does the DCS377Q1 compare to the DCS375B XTREME?

Both have the same 1-3/4 in. cut capacity, but the DCS377Q1 uses the heavier 20V MAX* ATOMIC™ platform while the DCS375B uses the lighter 12V MAX* XTREME™ system. Users with existing 20V MAX* tool investments should choose the DCS377Q1 for battery compatibility.
