Delta H2Okinetic 3-Setting Round Shower Head (Brilliance Stainless)

Model number
52688-SS

The Delta 52688-SS is a three-setting H2Okinetic round showerhead in Brilliance Stainless. It adds spray versatility to the original H2Okinetic round showerhead: choose from H2Okinetic full-coverage, a targeted massage pulse, or a pause setting that drops to a trickle while you lather up. At 1.75 GPM it is WaterSense certified. The pause function makes this especially practical in water-restricted areas. Connects to any standard 1/2 inch NPT shower arm. Touch-Clean rubber spray nozzles resist mineral buildup.

§ FAQ

What is the difference between the 52638 (1-setting) and 52688 (3-setting)?

The 52638 has a single H2Okinetic spray mode. The 52688 adds two additional modes — a pulsing massage and a pause/trickle function — via a selector dial on the showerhead body. Both flow at 1.75 GPM with WaterSense certification. The 3-setting version is slightly more expensive but offers significantly more versatility, especially the pause mode for water conservation while shampooing.

Does the pause setting shut the water off completely?

No. The pause setting reduces flow to a trickle — enough to keep the water temperature stable at the valve so you do not need to re-adjust temperature when you resume. It is not a full shut-off. To fully stop flow, turn the valve handle. Note: leaving the showerhead in pause mode for an extended period can cause pressure buildup in systems with high static pressure; Delta recommends the pause mode only for brief intervals.
